- Device Data: As you browse our website (powered by Odoo) automatically collects information about your device, time zone, and cookies to ensure the site functions correctly.
- AI Chat Support: We utilize an AI-powered chatbot to assist with website navigation and inquiries about our products (such as singing bowl tones or statue details). Interactions and chat logs with this AI are processed to provide customer support.
- Analytics: Unlike many e-commerce stores, we do not currently use third-party tracking tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or Pinterest trackers. We rely solely on Odoo’s built-in analytics to understand store performance.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Fulfill Orders: Processing payments via Stripe, arranging shipping for heavy or delicate items (such as statues and gongs), and providing invoices.
- Customer Service: Communicating with you via Email, WhatsApp Business, or our AI Chat tool regarding your order status or product inquiries.
- Additional Services: Managing your access to our Membership/Loyalty programs and Consultations regarding sound healing tools.
- Marketing: We use Odoo to manage our customer relationships. While we do not currently have an active newsletter, we may send you updates about your orders or legally required notices. (Note: Newsletter subscriptions are planned for the future).
SHARING YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal data. We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us fulfill our contract with you:
- Service Providers: We use Odoo to power our online store, customer relationship management, and marketing.
- Payment Processing: We use Stripe to process payments (including Credit Cards, Apple Pay, and WeChat Pay in the future).
- Shipping Partners: We share necessary contact details with standard courier services to deliver your items.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS & SHIPPING DISCLAIMER
Mudra Craft operates legally out of Nepal, with an additional physical presence in China.
- Cross-Border Transfer: By using our services, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, and processed in, Nepal and China.
- No Guaranteed Shipping Times: Due to the nature of international logistics and the physical nature of our products (statues and metal crafts), no shipping time can be guaranteed. All delivery dates provided are strict estimates. Actual delivery time varies depending on:
- Logistics: Carrier schedules and flight availability from Nepal.
- Packing & Handling: Specialized packaging required for delicate or heavy metal crafts (Statues/Gongs).
- Customs: Clearance procedures in the destination country which are beyond our control.
- Customs & Duties: We ship from Nepal. Any import duties, taxes, or extra fees incurred upon arrival in your country are the sole responsibility of the customer. Customs authorities may inspect parcels, which implies a necessary sharing of order details (contents and value) with border control agencies.
DATA RETENTION
- Order Records: We maintain order records (including transaction history) within our company archives for tax, legal, and accounting purposes. These records are kept private and secure.
- Communication: We retain email correspondence and chat logs to provide continuous support and historical context for future inquiries.
- Deletion Requests: If you request the deletion of your data, we will remove your marketing permissions and account profile. However, we must retain the core transaction record associated with your purchase to comply with financial auditing laws.
SECURITY
We take the protection of your data seriously. We implement reasonable practices and follow industry standards (such as encryption via Stripe and Odoo) to protect your personal information. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
